The album ‘ Joget Pahang ~ Gamelan Melayu: The Classical Ensemble of The Pahang Royal Court is the result of an ongoing effort dedicated towards reviving an art form that has existed for some two hundred years in Pahang and Terengganu. With twenty two classic renditions of the Gamelan Melayu, the album reflects the music of the Royal Palaces of Pahang and Terengganu, during the golden age of Malay Gamelan in the 19th century.
